Franchesco Fickey Martinez

Franchesco Donovan Fickey Martinez is an Immigration Attorney and owner of his own immigration law firm. Franchesco grew up in Onslow County, North Carolina. In North Carolina, Franchesco has lived in Hubert, Stella, Jacksonville, Wilmington, Clayton, Greenville, and Charlotte.

Franchesco first experienced the immigration process when he married his wife, who is from the Philippines. His wife was a J-1 Visa Holder and an exchange teacher in Onslow County Public Schools. Franchesco saw the process from start to finish, and realized the complexities of immigration. He personally experienced the stress, the worries, the numerous immigration forms, and the immigration interview, which he sat next to his lovely wife.

In 2015, Franchesco opened his own practice, calling it Fickey Martinez Law Firm, P.L.L.C. Now, he serves Eastern North Carolina in their immigration needs.

Personally, Franchesco is an outdoorsy-type. He enjoys long walks in the woods. He is a hobbyist beekeeper and hortaculturalist. He enjoys tending to his Orchard and dreams of one day owning a Persimmon Orchard in ENC.

Immigration Experience

Our firm has handled many kinds of immigration cases, with our most prominent being the Green Card Adjustment of Status. We have clients throughout Eastern NC, and even in states such as New York and California. As an Immigration Attorney, we can help immigration clients in any state.

Being a Military Town, Jacksonville has shown us the challenges that active-duty deployment and change of station have on an immigrant’s process. An expected 5-month process may turn into a 2-year process with PCS Orders. Regardless of your time with us, our practice is to keep a close eye on each client’s filing. If we see issues or expect issues, we keep our clients informed and we “iron out any wrinkles.” “Immigration hiccups” are common and we have a lot of experience fixing complications that arise from both enlisted and civilian clients.

We learned a lot from serving the military members of Camp Lejeune. With that knowledge, we expanded our office to better serve the service members of Cherry Point Air Station in Havelock, NC and the service members of Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC.

Since our beginning, we have sought better ways to serve our clients. To relieve travel time, our Office has opened additional offices in Fayetteville and Greenville, NC. Now, our clients have more opportunities to meet our Immigration Lawyer in person versus over the phone, through video calls, or after commuting 1 to 3 hours.
