Biography: With over seven years of dedicated experience in the education sector, I have specialized as a Pre-K Bilingual Testing and Placement Specialist. In this role, I have provided invaluable support to immigrant families navigating the complexities of the North Carolina school system. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these families, I have focused on addressing language barriers and devising individualized strategies to ensure the best educational outcomes for their children.
As an immigrant myself, originally from Mexico, I understand firsthand the obstacles that immigrant families encounter. Arriving in the United States as a minor, I was raised in North Carolina, where I completed my entire education. My personal journey has equipped me with insights into the experiences of immigrant parents and children, as well as the cultural and language differences that can complicate their integration into the educational system. Additionally, I am acutely aware of the ongoing challenges posed by the dynamic immigration landscape.
I am deeply passionate about advocating for immigrant families in need and am committed to utilizing my experiences to make a meaningful impact in the field of immigration. My goal is to assist not only educators and families but also military personnel, ensuring that all those in our community receive the support and resources they require for success.
