Preparing for the Naturalization Test (Part 2)
There are a few ways to prepare and to study for a coming Naturalization Test. Before I refer someone to a private resource (which I have not done as of yet), I like to state the free sources that are available to the public. The following are online resources that, in my opinion, provide great information and may help someone 100% prepare for a Naturalization Test.
- Video: See a USCIS Simulated Interview here that is provided by USCIS itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDb9_CqPUTQ .
- Video: USCIS Provides a Civics Video that is English with captions also available in Spanish and Chinese. The link may be found here .
- Under the “ Study for the Test ” section of the Citizenship Resource Center, you can find free study materials. The following links are to the actual online resources:
- Audio Available: USCIS 100 Civics Questions and Answers with MP3 Audio (English version). The link may be found here .
- Audio Available: USCIS provides 100 Civics Questions and Answers with MP3 Audio (Spanish version). The link may be found here .
- Audio Available: USCIS provides 100 Civics Questions and Answers with MP3 Audio (Chinese version). The link may be found here .
- Audio Available: USCIS provides 100 Civics Questions and Answers with MP3 Audio (Tagalog version). The link may be found here .
- Audio Available: USCIS provides 100 Civics Questions and Answers with MP3 Audio (Vietnamese version). The link may be found here .
- USCIS provides many other recourses. It is a wise idea to check them all out and see what works for you and your individual learning needs. The following link is a great start to reviewing more of USCIS’s study resources: https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/teachers/educational-products .
Once you have studied, try the Naturalization Self Test. It is a great way to test your knowledge. ( Practice Test Found Here ). Please note that the practice test is a multiple choice test. The real test is not multiple choice, and is an oral test. The “Self Test” was prepared by USCIS as a learning tool to help you assess your progress.
